With the continuous expansion of coverage, simple and convenient procedures, and the rapid growth of direct settlement of outpatient expenses across provinces, more and more people benefit from it. According to the latest statistics of the National Medical Insurance Bureau, by the end of September, the number of direct settlement of outpatient expenses across provinces had exceeded 6 million, reaching 6063600, and the payment proportion of medical insurance fund had reached 54.6%. At present, all provinces and Xinjiang production and Construction Corps have started the direct settlement of general outpatient expenses across provinces, so as to realize the networking access of at least one overall planning area in each province. By the end of September, there were 34600 designated medical institutions and 60500 designated retail pharmacies for direct settlement of outpatient expenses across provinces. From January to September, 6.0636 million person times were settled directly across provinces, involving medical expenses of 1.523 billion yuan, and the fund paid 831 million yuan, accounting for 54.6%. To handle the direct settlement of inter provincial general outpatient treatment, it is necessary to put on record first. The insured can handle the filing with offline agencies, and online handling channels have been opened in many places. By the end of September, all provinces and Xinjiang production and Construction Corps had started a unified online filing service. 434 overall planning regions rely on the national remote medical treatment filing applet and the national medical insurance service platform app to realize the cross provincial general handling of remote medical treatment filing. From January to September this year, 435100 people successfully handled the filing through the national unified online filing channel. For the insured who has handled the direct settlement filing of inter provincial hospitalization expenses, the inter provincial direct settlement service of general outpatient expenses shall be opened simultaneously without additional filing.
