The Japanese Embassy in China is discussing to lend the Zen master image of Yin yuan, an eminent monk at Wanfu temple in huangboshan, Kyoto, to China for exhibition in the form of "visiting relatives". According to records, Yin yuan (1592-1673) was invited to lead more than 30 well-known monks and laymen to travel from China to Nagasaki, Japan in 1654. In 1659, the Japanese royal family gave Yinyuan 10000 square meters at the foot of Yuji Minmin mountain in Kyoto to create a new temple. The new temple was named "Wanfu Temple of Huangbo mountain" in accordance with the old Chinese regulations, and Yinyuan became the founder of Huangbo sect in Japan. In 1673, the emperor of Japan granted Yinyuan the title of "great light shining National Teacher", and soon Yinyuan passed away. It is reported that in 1708, there were 1010 temples of Huangbo sect in Japan. So far, there are millions of monks and customs in Japan who worship the "Huangbo sect". Yinyuan Dongdu directly spread the culture of the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and had a far-reaching impact on the development of modern Japanese culture in thought, literature, seal cutting, architecture, music, medicine and so on. In addition, hidden yuan also brought hidden yuan beans, lotus roots and other plants to Japan. According to the Wanfu temple in Kyoto, the statue of Yinyuan was made of wood in 1663, up to 161.7 cm.
