From a regional perspective, the industry as a whole is stable. From January to September, the added value of industries above Designated Size in the east wing of the coastal economic belt increased by 15.2%, the West Wing of the coastal economic belt increased by 20.8%, the northern ecological development zone increased by 17.3%, and the core area of the Pearl River Delta increased by 11.2%. From January to September, all 21 cities above prefecture level were growing positively. The top three cities in terms of growth rate were Yangjiang City (30.1%), Shanwei City (27.2%) and Zhaoqing City (24.9%).
