"The ancients sighed helplessly about the Yellow River and also filled with endless expectations. Since the establishment of New China, various regions along the Yellow River have strengthened water conservancy construction and protected the ecological environment. With the introduction of the major national strategy for the Yellow River, the construction of the ecological corridor along the Yellow River has achieved daily results, and the ecological protection of the Yellow River Basin has ushered in a new chapter. Driving along the riverside water system in Yinchuan City, Ningxia, the wetlands of all sizes along the Yellow River form a beautiful ecological picture. Yinchuan City connects 8 wetlands into the Yellow River, and intercepts 9 mainly into the Yellow River drainage ditch. By scientifically planting plants such as reeds, calamus, water lilies, and lotus, and releasing aquatic animals such as fish, shrimp, and shellfish, a complete wetland ecological purification system is constructed in the riverside water system.
