The Czech Moravia Library, which collects Kundera's personal works, said that Kundera died of illness at his residence in Paris on the 11th. Kundera was born in Brno, Czechoslovakia, in 1929. Since 1975, he moved to France and became one of the main writers of the Gallimar Publishing House in France, starting to write in French in the 1980s.
