According to the data on the website of the State Intellectual Property Office, in 2020, the number of invention patents authorized by vocational colleges and universities nationwide was 2.69, and the number of invention patents authorized by 959 vocational colleges and universities was zero; According to the statistics of the 2021 Annual Report on the Quality of Higher Vocational Education, 217 higher vocational colleges nationwide will have zero funding for scientific research and social services in 2020. The second is the lack of functionality. The integration of science and education in higher vocational colleges lacks the effective support of the basic platform, and strengthens industry and education, weakens science and education, attaches importance to talent training and ignores scientific and technological innovation. With the complexity and systematization of scientific and technological innovation, scientific and technological research needs platform support, especially the technological innovation platform built by school-enterprise cooperation. Due to the lack of a complete scientific research platform and scientific research organization mechanism, teachers in higher vocational colleges cannot form a closely coordinated scientific research community, and it is difficult to form a complete scientific research innovation chain. There is a "two skin" phenomenon between scientific research supply and enterprise demand. Third, lack of innovation.
